TERMS OF SALE : IN PURCHASING FROM THIS SITE, YOU AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT
All customers must be able and willing to make a terminal pick up of their refrigerators/freezers... regardless of other arrangements made or fees paid.
Customers must be available in person to accept delivery when choosing home or commercial delivery.
Multiple delivery attempts are at the sole cost of the customer; or the customer must pick up at the freight terminal if unwilling to pay for additional delivery attempts. Items must be inspected at that time for shipping damage.
Customers have 24 hours from delivery to report shipping damage to the shipping company; inspection before signing is best and insures your legal status to redress if necessary.
Customers must make a timely pick up at terminal deliveries. This is usally 48 hours, but may vary. Customer is responsible also for any fees relating to the pickup such as storage or handling fees levied by the shipper or warehouse agent.
It is the customers responsibility to inspect freight for shipping damages prior to signing the delivery receipt. Inspection before signing the receipt papers is best.
After 24 hours the item is deemed to have been successfully delivered and accepted by the customer in all cases.
We reserve the right to ship a new item at our sole discretion in the case of extreme damage OR send replacment parts if the customer is able to make repairs OR send a qualified service technician if possible.
Damage claims are the sole responsibility of the shipping company and collection of damage clains is the sole responsibility of the customer. In no case will Genius Goods Inc be held liable, financially or otherwise, for shipping damage or warranty issues. We will assist our customers with their freight damage claim and they will receive compensation by the carrier, but in no instance is Genius Goods Inc responsible for a freight claim.
Merchandise Return Policy
All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be in original carton in new unused condition. All return freight and costs pertaining to return of merchandise must be prepaid and is sole responsibility of the customer.
All items must have Return Merchandise Authorization prior to return.
All returns will be sent to the respective item's warehouse of origin, NOT our offices in Waxhaw NC.
We do not accept returns for warranty related issues.
Customer is to pay all shiping costs, inbound and outbound, in all instances.
Restocking fees apply and all sales are final.
All items are covered by manufacturer's warranty and the terms of these warranties vary.
ANY FAILURE BY THE MANUFACTURER TO HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTY IS BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND THE MANUFACTURER.
Customer will seek financial restitution for any and all warranty issues from the manufacturer and NEVER from Genius Goods Inc.
In no instance is the customer to issue a credit card chargeback. We will do everything we can to make it right, and we can and will pursue collections and/or other legal means of redress in such an action.
